Sifat Mekanik dan Durabilitas Mortar dengan Substitusi Nano Eggshell PowderMenggunakan Air Laut sebagai Media Perawatan

Produksi semen sebagai bahan utama beton memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap emisi karbon, sehingga diperlukan alternatif material pengganti yang ramah lingkungan. Salah satu material potensial adalah limbah kulit telur yang dapat diolah menjadi Nano Eggshell Powder (NESP) dengan ukuran partikel halus dan reaktivitas pozzolanik yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini mengkaji kinerja beton dengan substitusi semen menggunakan NESP sebesar 5% dan 10%, serta menggunakan air laut dari Pantai Pangali-Ali, Majene, sebagai media perawatan. Metode pengujian meliputi kuat tekan, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV), daya serap air, resistivitas listrik, dan half-cell potential (HCP) hingga umur 91 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan NESP berpengaruh terhadap sifat mekanik dan durabilitas beton. Pada umur awal, campuran dengan NESP memiliki kuat tekan dan nilai UPV lebih rendah dibanding kontrol, namun terus meningkat hingga 91 hari akibat aktivitas pozzolanik tertunda. Nilai daya serap air menurun seiring umur perawatan dengan korelasi negatif yang kuat terhadap kuat tekan, sementara resistivitas listrik meningkat pada campuran dengan NESP, yang menunjukkan perbaikan struktur mikro dan pengurangan jalur migrasi kelembaban. Hasil HCP memperlihatkan bahwa seluruh campuran bergerak menuju kondisi pasif hingga umur lanjut, meskipun campuran dengan NESP 10% menunjukkan nilai lebih negatif dibanding NESP 5% dan kontrol. Temuan penting penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan NESP 5% memberikan keseimbangan terbaik antara performa mekanik dan durabilitas, sehingga dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam mengurangi konsumsi semen sekaligus mendukung pengembangan beton berkelanjutan di wilayah pesisir.
