Journal History

Borneo Engineering: Jurnal Teknik Sipil was first published online in Indonesian in August 2017 by the Civil Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Borneo Tarakan. 

In October 2019, Borneo Engineering: Jurnal Teknik Sipil received SINTA 4 accreditation from KEMENRISTEKDIKTI Decree Number B/3351/E5/E5.2.1/2019.

Furthermore, based on the accreditation results from KEMENRISTEKDIKTI under Decree Number 204/E/KPT/2022, Borneo Engineering: Jurnal Teknik Sipil was declared to retain its SINTA 4 accreditation.

In an effort to increase the journal's visibility, Borneo Engineering: Jurnal Teknik Sipil, Volume 10, Number 1 of 2026, was published in English for the first time and use new manuscript template.
