Peer Review Process
The Jurnal Borneo Humaniora implements a double-blind review process to ensure the quality and objectivity of the review. The review process follows these steps:
-
Initial Screening: Submitted manuscripts are checked by the editorial team for conformity with the journal's scope, format, and ethical guidelines.
-
Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
-
Review Process: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field. Constructive feedback is provided.
-
Editorial Decision: Based on reviewers' feedback, the editorial board decides to accept, reject, or request revisions.
-
Revision and Final Decision: Authors submit revised manuscripts, which may be re-reviewed, before a final publication decision is made.
-
Publication: Accepted manuscripts undergo final editing and layout preparation for publication.
The journal upholds transparency, fairness, and academic integrity throughout the peer review process.
