Open Acess Policy

Open Access Policy

Borneo Humaniora provides immediate open access to its published content, based on the principle that making scholarly research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All articles published in Borneo Humaniora are freely accessible online without subscription fees or access charges for readers and their institutions. Readers may access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of published articles, provided that such use complies with applicable copyright laws, the terms of the applicable license, and scholarly attribution requirements.

Borneo Humaniora supports the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which promotes the free availability of scholarly literature on the public internet and encourages the dissemination of research for the advancement of education, scholarship, and public knowledge.

Open access to the journal's content does not remove the obligation to acknowledge the original authors and source of the work. Users must provide appropriate citations and comply with the copyright and licensing terms applicable to each published article.

The journal is committed to improving the visibility, accessibility, and dissemination of scholarly contributions in the humanities and related disciplines by providing unrestricted online access to its published research.

Open Access Statement: Borneo Humaniora does not require readers to pay subscription fees or access charges to read or download its published articles.
