Manuscript
The manuscript must be an original manuscript (not previously published elsewhere) based on research results or currently under consideration for publication in another journal and free from plagiarism. The author agrees to submit the manuscript electronically using the online submission procedure of the Mathematics Education and Application Journal (META). The editor will follow up on submissions that do not comply with the procedure. (Article Writing Template Can Be Downloaded Here)
This template is a new template that will be used starting in 2025. The META template has been updated to include the full name of the journal, add information about the corresponding author, add the license used, and make the template content more informative regarding writing rules and article content.
Manuscript Structure
1. Title: The title of the article should be straightforward and informative, with a maximum of 14 words.
2. Author's name and affiliation: Written without titles. For articles originating from group research, all members must be listed in the same order.
3. Author's Institution and Email: the section is written with the name of the institution where the author comes from, starting from the study program, university, author's email address; if there is more than one author, write all email addresses and mark the correspondence email with an asterisk (*).
4. Abstract: The abstract must be less than 200 words. Please provide an abstract in English and Indonesian. The abstract should include the objectives, brief methods, findings, and brief conclusions. There should be no references (bibliography, images, tables) in the abstract.
5. Keywords: Consists of 3 to 5 words or phrases that reflect the essence of the concept within the scope of the problem, consisting of several words/terms and mentioned in the title/abstract.
6. Introduction: Written like an inverted pyramid, it contains a general to specific explanation of the importance of the topic and problems to be solved in the research and conveys facts about the topic discussed based on relevant and up-to-date previous research results or existing theories. This section explains the background of the research, the purpose of the manuscript, and shows the significance and novelty of the research.
7. Method: It is not permissible to write definitions of terms that are already commonly known (e.g., valid, instrument, population, sample, etc.). This section explains the appropriate analytical tools along with the data and sources.
8. Results and Discussion: This section explains the research results, which are presented clearly and concisely in the form of tables, figures, or diagrams. In the discussion section, the author must relate the research results to relevant and up-to-date theories or other studies. Present the discussion in accordance with the research objectives. If the research results differ from other relevant studies, the author needs to explain why this is the case. The author must explore the novelty or contribution of the work to the literature on mathematics education.
9. Conclusion: written concisely, succinctly, and answering the objectives of the article, and may be accompanied by research recommendations. The conclusion is written in paragraphs, not numbered, and must be in the same order as discussed in the body of the manuscript.
10. Acknowledgments: addressed to various parties who assisted in the writing, such as research sponsors and sources. Acknowledgments are optional and may or may not be included.

This is to ensure high-quality contributions to the development of knowledge and to only include sources that are cited in the body of the article. Each article submitted must cite at least two articles published in the Mathematics Education and Application Journal (META).
7. Quotations and references must strictly follow the APA (American Psychological Association) style. References must include only works cited in the APA-style manuscript text (http://www.apastyle.org/pubmanual.html). References must be written using reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or others.
Special Writing Format
