Title: Borneo Community Service Journal Using Arial Font, 12 Pt, Bold, Consisting of 10–20 Words

INTRODUCTION

The Introduction is written narratively as a unified flow without subheadings, with a length of 1–3 pages, in a single-column format, using Arial 11 pt font, 1.5 line spacing, and margins of 3 cm (left), 3 cm (top), 3 cm (bottom), and 2.5 cm (right). This section must comprehensively present a situational analysis and an overview of the partner’s condition (social, cultural, religious, health, or business potential aspects), supported by references to scientific journals for comparison and to strengthen the urgency of the activity. The author must describe the partner’s priority problems specifically and concretely, then connect them to the science and technology (IPTEKS) solutions or services offered, the implementation procedures, and the form of partner participation in the activity. This section must also present the targeted outputs to be achieved, both in terms of production and management aspects, and clearly, explicitly, and chronologically state the main objectives of the community service program.

METHODS AND IMPLEMENTATION

The Implementation Methods section explains theoretically and technically the community service methods used so that readers can properly reproduce the activity. It includes the location, time, and object or participant profile (background and number of participants). This section must describe the activity design, the data and/or tools used, and the stages of implementation clearly and in detail, including work procedures such as training (goods/services/diffusion of science and technology), continuing education, capacity building, or mentoring/mediation. The Methods and Implementation section is written in 2–3 pages using Times New Roman 11 pt font, 1.5 line spacing, and justified alignment. The use of sub-subheadings should be avoided; however, if unavoidable, they must be written in bold format with only the first letter capitalized.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

The Results and Discussion section is the main part of the article and is presented systematically and narratively in 2–5 pages, using Times New Roman 11 pt font, 1.5 line spacing, and justified alignment. This section must describe the implementation of all activity stages without including the raw data analysis process, but it must clarify information using illustrations such as tables, figures, or graphs that are referenced and described in the text. The discussion must interpret the results in line with the sequence of activities, demonstrating how the implementation of solutions addressed the partner’s problems through measurable indicators of success (such as pre-test and post-test results, questionnaires, or product observations). Authors are strongly encouraged to conduct a comparative analysis of the partner’s condition before and after the program, explain the impacts and benefits of the activity, and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in program implementation. Furthermore, arguments must be strengthened by linking relevant ideas, theories, and previous community service results to demonstrate contributions to innovation development. The use of sub-subheadings should be minimized; however, if unavoidable, they must be written in bold format with only the first letter capitalized.

CONCLUSION

This section contains the conclusions and recommendations of the activity. It should be written concisely, with a maximum length of 1 page, using Times New Roman 11 pt font, 1.5 line spacing, and justified alignment. The conclusion must be presented in a single paragraph without numbering, providing a brief summary of the activity results, the solutions to the partner’s problems, and the tangible impacts and benefits of the empowerment program implemented. The author must synthesize the supporting and inhibiting factors of the activity based on the analysis presented in the Results and Discussion section. Meanwhile, the recommendations should be based on an analysis of the program’s strengths and weaknesses, including aspects that have and have not been achieved, and provide strategic recommendations for future implementers to ensure the sustainability of community empowerment activities.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS (if any)

If it is necessary to express gratitude to certain parties, such as sponsors of the community service program, state it clearly and concisely, and avoid excessive expressions of gratitude.

REFERENCES

The References section lists the written works read by the author in preparing the article and subsequently used as references in writing it. In scientific articles, a References section is mandatory as a complement to citations and as a guide to source materials. The reference list must follow the APA (American Psychological Association) Style, 6th Edition, and the use of reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is recommended.
