Focus and Scope

JUMBO: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Borneo is a peer-reviewed and open-access scientific journal published by Universitas Borneo Tarakan. The journal aims to disseminate scholarly works on community service activities that focus on economic development and empowerment, applied innovation in the field of economics, and sustainable economic development, particularly in the Borneo region and border areas, while remaining open to national and international contributions. The journal emphasizes multidisciplinary approaches within the field of economics to address various socio-economic challenges and welcomes articles reporting the implementation of community service programs, including community economic empowerment, strengthening of MSMEs and cooperatives, entrepreneurship development, financial literacy and inclusion, creative economy development, management and marketing, digital economy initiatives, local potential-based economic development, village financial management, and strategies for improving community welfare through sustainable economic approaches. The journal is published biannually, with each volume consisting of two issues within one calendar year.
