About the Journal

The Journal of Borneo Nursing Insights (JBNI) (P-ISSN: - dan E-ISSN: -) is a platform for a practical approach to nursing subjects related to healthcare issues. It serves as a forum for publishing original research, reviews in the field of Nursing, and papers that contribute to the advancement of nursing education supporting evidence-based practice. The JBNI publishes research on nursing and health that reflects diversity in healthcare systems, demonstrating analytical and constructive research in nursing. JBNI is the official journal published by the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Borneo Tarakan with 5 - 10 articles in each issue. The journal employs a double-blind peer review process for all submissions. It is a periodic journal published three times a year (April, August, and September).

The Journal of Borneo Nursing Insights (JBNI) invites researchers, academics, practitioners, and students to submit original articles for publication in our upcoming issue. JBNI is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Borneo Tarakan.

Scope of the Journal:
We welcome manuscripts in the form of original research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and conceptual papers in the following (but not limited to) areas:

  • Community and Family Nursing

  • Medical-Surgical Nursing

  • Maternity Nursing

  • Pediatric Nursing

  • Mental Health Nursing

  • Geriatric Nursing

  • Nursing Management and Education

  • Public Health and Health Promotion
