About the Journal

Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Borneo (JBKB) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research articles, literature reviews, and scholarly works within the fields of Guidance and Counseling and educational studies related to Guidance and Counseling. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of the published articles. JBKB is published biannually, with issues released in June and December, by the Department of Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Borneo Tarakan. The journal is registered under Print ISSN 2685-0753 and Online ISSN 2685-2039.

Starting from Volume 8, Issue 1, JBKB has implemented several strategic improvements to enhance the quality and international visibility of the journal. These improvements include the adoption of a new article template that aligns with international academic publishing standards and the use of English as the official language of publication for all accepted manuscripts. This policy aims to broaden the journal's international readership, increase citation opportunities, and support JBKB's continuous development toward reputable international indexing. Authors are therefore requested to prepare their manuscripts using the updated template and submit articles written in English in accordance with the latest Author Guidelines.
