Kematangan Karir Mahasiswa Pada Calon Konselor di Uin Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of career maturity of students and the influence of the semester taken on the differences in career maturity in students of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program, UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and inferential analysis through the ANOVA test. The research sample consisted of 50 students from various semesters who were selected purposively. The instrument used was a career maturity questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that most students had a career maturity level in the medium category, with 31.7% at a high level and 12.5% ​​at a low level. The ANOVA test produced a significance value of 0.004, indicating a significant difference between the level of career maturity of students based on semester. This strengthens Donald Super's career development theory which states that career maturity develops gradually according to experience and age.
