Open Access Policy

This journal commits to open the access by giving free access to the journal without charging any fees to the individual readers or their institutions. The readers can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full paper as long as not for commercial purposes.

Screening for Plagiarism Policy

The journal's policy for plagiarism does not allow any plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. The editor will check the plagiarism using Plagiarism Checker X and the paper that is indicated to have plagiarism will be rejected. The journal will tolerate 20% of similarities in the manuscript as the maximum. The authors are suggested to check the plagiarism and ensure that the similarities of the manuscript is below the threshold. The editor check the abstract using Grammarly to determine the accuracy of the language.

Peer Review Process

Borneo Journal of Biology Education (BJBE), this is an open access journal that allows the readers to access the full paper for free so the massive global exchange can be achieved. The journal implements blind review in which every submitted paper will be sent to registered reviewers in Biopedagogia. Blind review means either reviewers or the authors do not know each other. The review process will take about 14 business days at the maximum. If the selected reviewers are not able to complete the review process during the period of time, the chief editor will select another reviewer to review.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
