General Guidelines
- The guidelines for manuscript writing in BORNEO JOURNAL OF BIOLOGY EDUCATION (BJBE), Universitas Borneo Tarakan, follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA Style)
- The manuscripts can be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English by considering the correctness of the grammar. Manuscript in English should be written in the past tense
- Manuscripts written in English by non-English speakers should be checked by English editors
- The manuscripts should be written in MS Word, paper format A4 (210 x 297 mm), single column, and simple layout. The authors are encouraged to utilize MS word facilities to write and edit the manuscript (bold, italics, subscript, superscript, equation, etc)
- All the text in the manuscript should be written using Times New Roman
- The word count in the manuscript should not exceed 4000 words or about 8-12 pages, including pictures, graphics, and tables
- Pictures and tables are used to visualize information in the manuscript that is difficult to explain. The authors should ensure that the pictures are of good quality for printing
- The authors will only receive one exemplar of the printed journal in which their manuscript is published. If the authors require more than one exemplar, they should pay a certain amount of money.
