Copyright and License Statement

Authors who publish their articles in the Borneo Community Health Service journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright

    • Authors retain copyright and grant the Borneo Community Health Service journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

    • This license allows others to share, copy, distribute, and transmit the work, as well as adapt and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes, provided the original author and source are properly credited.

  2. Author's Rights

    • Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as this can lead to productive exchanges and earlier and greater citation of published work.

  3. Co-Authorship

    • If the article is co-authored, the corresponding author confirms that all co-authors have agreed to the publication and the copyright and license terms stated above.

  4. Third-Party Material

    • If the article contains material for which the author does not hold copyright, the author must obtain the necessary permissions and clearly acknowledge the source.

By submitting the manuscript, authors agree to these terms and confirm that their work is original, free of plagiarism, and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
