ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN TINGKAT KESEJAHTERAAN RUMAH TANGGA PETANI SINGKONG DI WILAYAH TARAKAN UTARA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income and welfare level of cassava farmer households in North Tarakan District, Tarakan City. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were 30 cassava farmers in North Tarakan District, Tarakan city. The results showed that the average income of cassava farmers in North Tarakan District, Tarakan city was IDR 13,285,316 per production, the average profit for cassava farming was IDR 13.375,784 per production, with an average amount per production of 6,145 kg, and the average selling price is IDR 2,440 per kg. Judging from the income of cassava farmers, the ratio value of all respondents is R/C > 1, meaning that cassava farming in North Tarakan District is feasible to implement. Based on the National Population and Family Planning Agency’s Criteria (2020) regarding the level of welfare of cassava farmer households in North Tarakan District, Tarakan City, namely that there are no farmers who are included in Pre-Prosperous Families. As many as 3 farmers (10%) belong to prosperous family I, 6 farmers (20%) belong to prosperous family II, 18 farmers (60%) belong to prosperous family III, and 3 farmers (10%) belong to prosperous family III+.
