Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development and trend of research regarding the implementation of e-training through a bibliometric approach. Using VOSviewer, Bibliometrix, and CiteSpace software, data from publications from 1980 to 2024 were analyzed based on indicators of citation, co-wording, co-citation, collaboration, and thematic evolution. The results of the study show that e-training is a dynamic field with an increasing trend of publications, influenced by advances in digital technology and organizational training needs. Central themes in this literature include e-learning, personnel training, knowledge management, and gamification. The United States dominates the contribution of global publications, followed by Pakistan, Turkey, and Indonesia. The research also found that socio-economic impacts and sustainability issues are a growing focus in the current literature. These findings affirm the importance of e-training as a strategic solution in human resource development in the era of digital transformation and suggest more interdisciplinary and contextual follow-up research opportunities.
